Cyst Removal

AvailableAvailableOut of stockThis service is a surgical procedure in which a cut is made through the skin to remove an entire lump or suspicious area so it can be checked under a microscope for signs of disease. A small amount of healthy tissue around the abnormal area may also be removed to ensure complete removal and lower recurrence risk.
This service is only for cysts that are less than 5cm in size.
The doctor may recommend that the biopsy specimen be sent to histopathology to determine if it is benign or cancerous. Excision biopsies are most commonly done on the skin or any area of the body.

VALIDITY: The validity period for claiming your order is 6 months. Kindred reserves the right to cancel orders unclaimed within this period.
Before your procedure:
- Bathe or shower using antibacterial soap.
- Completely remove makeup, oils, or lotions on the surgical region on the day of your procedure.
- Do not try to squeeze or pop the skin lump or cyst by yourself.
- Avoid waxing or shaving the area for at least a week before the procedure.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment.
After your procedure:
Expect slight swelling, bruising, and soreness at the site where the cyst was removed for a few days. The stitches on the site will dissolve and fall out in around 7 to 14 days. Afterwards, the wound will dry and heal within 2 weeks, and may leave a small scar.
