Prenatal Screening Package

A 30-60 minute initial consultation with an OBGYN, and a follow-up consultation after results are released.

The First Trimester Package includes:
1️⃣ CBC / Complete Blood Count with Platelet Count - A basic blood test to determine red blood cell levels for anaemia, white blood cells for infections, and blood clotting abilities through platelet count.
2️⃣ Urinalysis (urine exam) - To check urine samples for bacteria since pregnancy and a short ureter predisposes women to urinary tract infection. UTIs can be detrimental to the prognosis of pregnancy if left untreated.
3️⃣ Pap Smear (Liquid-Based Pap Smear) Collection & Reading - Liquid-based testing for cervical cancer screening
4️⃣ First trimester ultrasound - A first-trimester ultrasound is usually done 7 to 8 weeks until 12 weeks from the first day of the last menstrual period.
5️⃣ Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) - To check for Elevated Blood Sugar during initial prenatal check-up.
6️⃣ VDRL - This test is one of the markers for syphilis infection which produces serious life-threatening infections in the baby.
7️⃣ HIV 1 & 2 Screening - To check for human immunodeficiency virus which can be passed on to the baby.
8️⃣ HBsAg (Hepatitis surface antigen) - To check for Hepatitis B infection; antigen presence only. no titers in the test.
9️⃣ Add-ons: Vitamins & Supplements (30-day or 15-day supply)


The Second Trimester Package includes:
1️⃣ Second-trimester ultrasound - Check-up for fetal well-being to include heartbeat and gender check.
2️⃣ Rubella IgG - To check for rubella infection.
3️⃣ 75 grams OGTT (for pregnant women) - Oral glucose test to identify diabetes. To be done 24-28 weeks AOG.
4️⃣ Congenital Anomaly Scan - Done after 75g OGTT to correlate possible congenital anomalies with increased blood sugar.
5️⃣ Add-ons: Antenatal Consultation with Pedia Geneticist (to map out potential genetic problems in the baby if with a family history), Obstetrics & Gynecology - Perinatology, Obstetrics & Gynecology - Lactation Consultation (with a lactation consultant in order to prepare the mother and the partner for the breastfeeding journey should they decide to go through it or not)


The Third Trimester Package includes:
1️⃣ Third-trimester ultrasound - The third-trimester ultrasound is called a growth scan or a fetal well-being scan. It may be done any time after the 30th week but is preferred between the 36th and the 40th week.
2️⃣ DTP Vaccine (excluding home service)
3️⃣ Flu Vaccine (excluding home service)
4️⃣ Group B Streptococcus (GBS) test
5️⃣ Add-ons: Home Service Vaccination, BioPhysical Profile (BPP), 3D Scan with gender


The Comprehensive Package includes screening and tests that cover all three (3) trimesters.

Pregnant women at any trimester, and those up to six weeks postpartum can avail of the Prenatal Package for as long as they have singleton pregnancies.
