The Babyface 3D/4D Ultrasound Package is for patients who are interested to see an image of their baby's face in-utero using a 2D/3D or 3D/4D ultrasound done ideally at 33-36 weeks of gestation, when the facial features are formed.
The three options all include fetal biometry to take the baby’s measurements, heart rate, breathing, movement, muscle tone, and amniotic fluid level, together with the scans for abnormalities, genitalia, and the baby’s face.
Patients have the option to choose among the three variants depending on their choice of image quality and print. A Black & White print is a 2D/3D picture, while the Sepia and Peach print is a 3D/4D picture. Should there be difficulty in determining the baby’s face, a repeat trial may be scheduled.
