Breast Health Package

The Breast Health Package is designed to cater to the needs of both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals concerned about their breast health and those experiencing symptoms that require further evaluation. This package covers a range of services aimed at early detection, risk assessment, and diagnosis of breast-related issues.

The Basic Breast Health Package inclusions are Initial and Follow-up Consultations with a Kindred Surgeon to first evaluate medical history, conduct a breast exam, and assess cancer risk before discussing test results and creating a care plan for optimal breast health. This package also includes a Breast Ultrasound (best for women <35 years old) to detect superficial breast lumps and changes that are possibly associated with cancer.

You may also select some add-ons to the Breast Health Package if recommended by your doctor:

• BRCA1 and BRCA2 Gene Mutation Testing - To test for the gene mutation associated with an increased risk for breast cancer, which may be due to familial or hereditary causes. This test detects hereditary and non-hereditary BRCA genes.
• CA 15-3 - To test for gene associated with an increased risk of breast cancer.
• FNAB/CNB (Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy/Core Needle Biopsy) - To extract and test small tissue samples from the mass found in the breast to establish a pathological diagnosis.
• Excision biopsy - To excise any breast lumps or masses.
• Mammogram - A specialized x-ray that can detect and identify even non-palpable breast abnormalities. This diagnostic test can help classify findings as either benign or malignant (best for women >35 years old).
• Tests for bleeding parameters (CBC, BT, Bleeding time, Clotting time)

VALIDITY: Initial consults must be availed within 3 months and succeeding services must be availed within 1 year from date of purchase. Kindred reserves the right to cancel orders unclaimed within this period.
