The Shingles vaccine is a non-living vaccine made of a virus component given in two doses with a 2-6 month interval. It prevents against shingles and other related complications and can be given whether an individual has gotten shingles already or not.

Although some patients may still develop shingles despite vaccination, the Shingles vaccine can reduce both its severity and duration. The vaccine is also beneficial for reducing the risk of postherpetic neuralgia, which is a shingles complication that causes pain to continue long after the blisters have cleared. Studies have suggested that protection against shingles with this vaccine may extend beyond five years.

Note: Once you've booked, our nurses will reach out within 24-48 hours for your vaccine schedule. Please wait for a message in the email address you have provided! For urgent concerns, please prioritize a visit to the Emergency Room.
