- Is it gaping open or wide?
- Does it look deep?
- Is it on the face, lips, or neck?
- Is there glass or other debris in it?
- Is an object sticking out of it, such as a twig?
- Is it spurting blood?
- *If a cut is spurting blood, an artery might have been hit. Apply pressure on the wound with a clean cloth right away and get checked at an urgent care clinic or ER as soon as possible.
