A transvaginal ultrasound is a quick and painless procedure wherein a transducer is inserted into the vagina to examine and produce images of the pelvic organs. This procedure can help identify cysts, tumors, pelvic infections, cancers, and causes of potential fertility problems.
Please note: Once you've booked, our nurses will reach out within 24-48 hours for your schedule. Please wait for a message in the email address you have provided! For urgent concerns, please prioritize a visit to the Emergency Room.
A doctor's request will be required before checking out.
The transvaginal ultrasound is conducted by Kindred’s OB-Sonologist and takes 15-30 minutes. To ensure a smooth and successful procedure, your Kindred nurse or doctor will give you instructions to arrive at the clinic with a full bladder and avoid urinating 30 minutes before your ultrasound. Transvaginal ultrasounds can be performed on menstruating patients, but be sure to remove tampons or menstrual cups before the procedure.
Women who want a regular check-up may get a transvaginal ultrasound but it may also be prescribed for those experiencing symptoms such as pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, unusual cramping or some types of fertility problems.
You may pay using the following channels upon checking out: Visa, Mastercard credit cards, Paymaya, GCash, GrabPay, Unionbank Direct Debit, and BPI Direct Debit.
